The MedEssentials Free Medicine & UCAT Workshop is one of our most popular events of the academic year. For many students, this will be an opportunity to be directly in contact with consultant surgeons, specialists, junior doctors and Adelaide University medicine & dental students. We offer very specific advice tailored to Adelaide University Medicine, which makes the MedEssentials program a leader and a high demand training provider for medicine admissions in the state.

The workshop will focus on:

  • Pathways to get into medicine/dentistry at the University of Adelaide

  • UCAT overview and the MedEssentials checklist of critical recommendations

  • Senior school & UCAT advice from past successful students

  • Training as a medical student at Adelaide University

  • Career and work opportunities of various medical specialists

  • How to succeed as a junior doctor

  • Further Medicine & UCAT training opportunities with MedEssentials

Eligibility: Years 10 - 12 + Gap Year Students + Tertiary Transfer candidates
