MedEssentials Private Interview Training

MedEssentials interview training is a leader in helping students get into medical school. Each year our three senior teachers train over 80 students for medical and dental interviews.

This represents the highest volume of any private or group trainer Australia wide, especially coupled with an 92% success rate of candidates over the past decade.* Students can expect to deliver their absolute maximum potential with the support of medical doctors and dentists working with them on this final, extremely competitive stage of medical and dental school selection.

The general acceptance rate for medical school admission from interviews is between
12% - 20%, dependent on university. (Eg. 800 interviews for 120 positions available)

Typical Teaching Format

2x 1 hour sessions with each coach
Students will be able to choose any topic on request.

Included in training, students will receive:

  • Preparation notes and recommended pre-reading

  • Example questions based on past actual stations

  • Direct access to our senior tutors and medical doctors for consultation advice

  • Detailed notes of each session that are a transcription of the tutorial

  • Model responses for key questions

  • Adaptable sessions based on areas of improvement our expert coaches identify

Common Example Teaching:

  • Discussion of pre-reading learning points

  • Review of key questions for specific university

  • Direct feedback and written construction

  • Practice stations with critical performance analysis and final improvement notes
